Reflection

Learning on the Fly

My interest in Suicide Studies began formally only 9 months ago. Since that time, I have steeped myself in literature, films, and discussions about the nature and history of suicide, suicide prevention, and many other related topics. This reflection space traces my learning path, and is a living artifact.

Brainstorm

One of the first tasks I assigned myself (after preliminary reading on suicidality) was to create a mind map of all the possible directions, interactions, and interventions that I could think of to support suicide prevention at my institution. The mind map below shows the broad categories I considered.
